Number portability — what changes for the recharge

If your number was ported from one operator to another, the recharge still works the way you expect: pick the carrier the number is currently with, not the one it started on. The form will recognise the prefix only loosely; if the dropdown chooses the wrong carrier, override it manually before pressing Continue.

What if the carrier endpoint is offline
ماذا لو كانت نقطة نهاية المشغّل غير متصلة
It happens — usually for a few minutes during a maintenance window, occasionally during a regional infrastructure incident. The recharge form detects an unreachable settlement endpoint and refuses to take the card payment in the first place. You see a banner saying the carrier is currently unreachable; nothing is charged. Try again in 10–20 minutes.
